Agreement
By downloading or using Degenchi (the "App") you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the App.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the App or any part of it.
Age Requirement
Degenchi is intended for adults. It contains cartoon depictions of fictional substance use, and it is rated accordingly on the App Store. You must meet the minimum age for that rating in your region to use it.
This Is Fiction
Degenchi is a comedy game about cartoon animals with bad habits. Nothing in it is advice, encouragement, endorsement, or a depiction of anything real.
The substances in the game are invented, are referred to only by silly nicknames, and have no relationship to any real product. The money is not real, and the jobs pay terribly on purpose, because that is the joke.
If any of the themes in this game reflect something you are dealing with in real life, please talk to a qualified professional or a support service in your country.
Virtual Currency and Items
The App contains a virtual currency called Degen Bucks, along with virtual items and cosmetic skins. These are a licence to use a feature of the App, not property.
- Degen Bucks and virtual items have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real money or anything of value
- They cannot be sold, traded, gifted or transferred outside the App
- They exist only within your installation and are lost if you delete the App
- We may change prices, balance, availability or the design of any virtual item at any time
- Unused balances are not refundable and expire if the App is discontinued
Purchases and Refunds
Optional in-app purchases of Degen Bucks are processed entirely by Apple and are subject to the App Store terms. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation.
Because Degen Bucks are delivered to your device immediately, purchases are generally final. We cannot issue refunds ourselves. All refund requests are handled by Apple, and you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
No Gambling
The App contains no gambling and no simulated gambling. Nothing in the App can be staked or wagered, there is no game of chance, and Degen Bucks cannot be cashed out or converted into anything of real value. The Odd Jobs mini-game pays out purely on timing accuracy.
Your Data
Your save file lives on your device. We do not collect personal information. See our Privacy Policy for the detail.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any save data will be preserved.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or virtual items, arising from your use of the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
